HOAGIE GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 1.0, 2026 Copyright (C) 2026 the open hoagie authors. Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this license document, and everyone is permitted to use the licensed hoagie in accordance with the following. 0. Definitions. "The Hoagie" means the sandwich described by these sources, its layers, assembly order, and any derivative hoagie. "Bread" means a sub roll -- and specifically not a bap. A bap is a delicious and valid bread, but it is not a hoagie roll, and calling one "The Hoagie" is a breach of section 1(a). "Chips" means crisps, or one standard bag thereof. 1. Grant. You may use, modify, and redistribute The Hoagie, provided that: (a) you do not remove the bread. There is no "low carb" fork of this project. The bread is load-bearing. (b) any hoagie you redistribute remains makeable from source, on a plate, with a knife, by a human who is hungry. (c) when you share The Hoagie with another human, you also share your chips. This is the entire point of section 1 and it is not optional, despite feeling optional. 2. No Warranty. THIS HOAGIE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTY OF EDIBLE AND FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR MEAL. Hold periods longer than thirty minutes will result in dampness, and dampness is on you. 3. The Heart of the License. If you enjoy The Hoagie, you are obligated to tell one friend where they can get the source. That friend is then obligated to tell one friend, and so on, until the hoagie is a global constant. Bonus clause. No hoagie is complete without a comment on its freshness. END OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
